The 7th edition of UMAN Magazine "on Hold" is now available!
UMAN is a journal and a think tank run by students at Umeå School of Architecture. At UMAN we are students with the hope of creating discussions and debates both within and outwith the architecture community. We think that architects early on should start to practice community engagement with future users.

The 7th edition of UMAN Magazine, "on Hold", depart from the stories of the strange year of 2020, the materials produced as well as the challenges and ideas that have sprung from isolation, limitation and digital togetherness.
The intention of reaching beyond the grounds of our school with the conversation has previously been realized through various forms of Forums hosted by us. The last one was a composition of the release event for the 6th issue, "Beauty", with an exhibition connected to the work behind the physical magazine and a public debate on the given theme. With us in the panel were representatives from the school of architecture, the municipality and the public uprising community Arkitekturupproret.
